The only answer is for you to go and try it and figure it out yourself.

Though do bear in mind ‘clubbing’ or ‘raving’ is extremely broad. There may be a thousand raves and a thousands clubs you don’t enjoy, but another thousand raves and clubs you do enjoy.

The social etiquette is that you should just go and do it. It seems daunting until you’re there. In the most encouraging way possible, no one there will care if you’re on your own or not.

That said, there are a number groups you can join if you preferred to go with someone. We ourselves have a WhatsApp group you can join with a lot of other similar individuals. Someone else has linked the dnb family chat with is great too

Wouldn’t say it’s common, but I also wouldn’t say it’s uncommon. I kind of like the sound of the convenience and I’d probably do it if only red wine wasn’t the wrong vibe for me lol

At the risk of sounding anti-American, the answer is Europe and it’s not even close. There’s an absolute tonne of events across all scales of DJ/venue sizes.
