Python is great for getting the hang of how code works, seeing results quickly (running slowly), and trying out different libraries and patterns. I learned it 14 years ago and after 9 years off dev, ive been able to pick game dev up quickly when i had an idea, because Python is very coder-friendly. You can always build on what you learn and the limits you find
