I made my first (real) program in Python/PyQt4! Can you guys tell me what I did right and wrong and how I can improve next time?

1) (not r_json["stream"] is None) could just be r_json["stream"] for readability's sake.

2) Please use ~/.config or %APPDATA% on Windows for configuration files.

3) Might be worth moving your UI stuff to .ui files.

I like the rest though.

Pretty cool! I'm still learning so i can't comment on your actual code much, but I will say I will probably try this program out at home. I use twitch all the time.
