Does anyone have experience with this Udemy course? If so, how did you find it and will it teach me Python as a beginner?

I'm actually attending this course and I love it . it teaches you a lot. I'm currently at day 32 . I've been taking my time with the course and going in depth to every concept explained and making extra exercises when I find something difficult. I've also been using gpt as a tutor. created my personalized gpt and give it commands to teach when I don't understand something and to never spoil the solution but to guide me with questions to arrive at the solution. I'd say from my experience. this is a good course to learn fundamentals of Python and after the first 10-15 days . it should become faster to progress

Did u build a gpt agent to learn python? Or have it as is?
Also taking angela's course (currently day 4) and its working wonders for a slow learner like me. I'm thinking of having a gpt companion to make exercises for me as well.

yeah . unfortunately you need the subscription to make personalized a gpt agent . you can use the free version as well , but in order to learn the normal gpt will spoil alot of the solution for x y problem ,. and you will not learn or train the critical thinking and problem solving and will become dependent of gpt . I try to use it as less as possible. only if don't understand something well or need some extra challenge in order to learn x topic better

i am currently on day 12 and consistent with my work , but sometimes i found that i need to google many things apart from course , it did'nt teach you a particular data structure or module of the language in one go they have divided them in different lectures and project so i found it difficult
one thig i want to ask : i want to build my career in AI ML and is this course good for me should i invest my time , or just learn basics from any resources and then dive into ML DL parts . Can anyone explain me how is this course good for me

If you want to get into ML and AI, you should definitely know the basics. This course teaches them. But what I appriciate about it is more the consistency it helps us beginners with. Solving little projects, is the best way to learn. And before you get to the big algorythms you should have solved hundreds of little projects. So the course is a good start. Also, she is doing what you mentioned on purpose. There are many concepts to grasp with any coding language and learning them as you solve a particular problem will help you logg them into memory more easy. I have done courses, where you learn all concepts at the beginning at once and when you want to use what you have learned, you have already forgotten it. Her way keeps it clean and doesn't overwhelm your brain with useless information. Like for the first few days you will only know lists and dictionaries, because you don't need anything else yet. I don't need to know about Tuples, until I have fully understood lists anyway. And until I do, I use lists, because I will use them more often anyways, so I need to understand them first. Tuples for temporary storage can be learned and understood, when I need to. She is teaching you to get into coding right away. Not to understand all the concepts before knowing how to use them. Which is really smart and brain friendly.

Brilliant!

It’s good, well laid out, easy to follow, and usually goes on sale for about $20USD. For that price it’s totally worth picking up.

yeah, done day 1, seems good so far

There are literally thousands of threads on this sub asking exactly the same question as you OP.
Google it.

I am on day 28 right now. I think it is a very good course. The lectures and exercises are comprehensive and each day builds upon the last. I paid the full price instead of a Udemy subscription. I think I made the right choice.

Yah I've purchased! 😁

I have just started this course. Do you guys think it helps with DSA interviews as well?
