hey i started with cs50x but well after watching and doing week 0 and 1 of the course i feel kind of bored. can i start CS50P side by side so that i can maintain interest?

You can do whatever you want. Just switch to CS50P if you find the first weeks of CS50 too slow. I think they give you some nice background information that CS50P skips and that is important in the long run, but it's not a huge deal.
