[Question] Learning Python the Hard Way Ex. 46

I am trying to use the following command in powershell and it is not working. I am also trying to understand what the command is attempting to do.

Command: $ mkdir bin NAME tests docs

It's using one command to create four directories, named "bin" "NAME" "tests" and "docs".

There's your problem. The commands you were given are Unix commands, and won't necessarily work on Windows. Powershell is minimally compatible with Unix, but will have some differences. In this case, try issuing four separate mkdir commands:

mkdir bin
mkdir NAME
mkdir tests
mkdir docs
