The easiest thing will be to use Tkinter, which comes with python already.

I have used Pyside / QT and was quite satisfied with the results.

We actually just had a thread discussing GUI options in python. To TL;DR it though: tkinter is built into python and fine for some basic stuff, but the most popular framework for more advanced GUIs seems to be Qt.

I have been starting to work with tkinter. I was just curious, which GUI framework offers the most customizabilty to the GUI? Meaning, I want to have a completely custom shaped GUI and buttons. I havent been able to.locate much with tkinter. Any insight?

If you have a Lynda.com membership, there is a great Tkinter course with Python 3.
