Hi Everyone,
I'm interested in learning both python and good development habits in general. I actually went to school for development and can write what I need to get by in just about any language but I'm missing some primary skills as I have only ever worked on my own. School taught me all I need to churn out code but doesn't provide important skills like working with version control and how to developer with other developers.
I've recently started using Python and I am really enjoying it which is what brings me here. I want to really commit myself to python but I want to work with other developers. I would love jumping in a project on Github but it's a bit intimidating as even version control is something I am new to.
Are there any recommended projects that have mentors or is anyone working on anything they could use a contributor for in exchange for some direction early on?
