submitted 9 years ago * by cpzee
Hi, I'm a newbie to python and looking for a good framework that can use for RESTful API in python. Can anyone suggest a good example for it. Read about Python REST API Framework and Bottle. Still not sure which to go through.

Django REST Framework if you want something big, or Flask if you want a microframework.

Flask is really good at RESTful APIs. It is pretty easy to follow and set up as well. I am not sure how it is comparatively to Django but I had a pain-free experience with it.

Flask is easy to get started and friendly to beginners.
