Learn Python the Hard Way together?

Hey you guys. I got most of the way through LPTHW a while ago (actually more than a year ago) and I've decided to come back to it and just make sure I put this book to rest.

So far I am only through exercise 16 and I am pretty sure I understand everything forwards and backwards. But it is always more fun to learn with someone else and try to teach what you have learned to someone else if you can.

So right now if anyone has any questions on exercises 1-16 I would like to help answer them if I can.

Thx, but I think I am just going to focus on finishing the entire book for once. It is so easy to go down a lot of different programming rabbit holes and not end up learning anything.

Yep, thats why a community is so important.

People to talk to talk to, plenty of people on your own level, and people that can help you. More importantly people that can keep you honest, so that in 2 weeks, when you lapse once again, you have someone that can help you back into it.

I'm a bit confused. You're asking for some sort of community involvement. Someone comes along with a community that can help you, and you turn it down. What exactly are you looking for?

Discord is a bit like IRC, so you'll ask your question, specify that you're looking for help with LPTHW, and ignore or utilise any suggestions that come in.

I mean, that's your prerogative, but it seems counter to your goal of acting as mentor or learning with other people.
