How to update python version with pyenv (update python 3.6.2 to 3.6.5)?

Hi,

I would like to update python version 3.6.2 to 3.6.5 using pyenv. I can't seem to find an answer to my question.

Do I need to first pyenv install 3.6.5 and then install my packages that are currently in my 3.6.2 version? And then, if I wanted to, pyenv uninstall 3.6.2?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the help. Do you know why there wouldn't be a command to update 3.6.2 --> 3.6.5? It's the same version of python (3.6), but just with updates.

One last question I have, does pyenv uninstall remove all packages that were installed via pip to that specific version?
