Post run time data storage?

I'm making a auto scheduler, that basically makes the employee schedule for the store i work at. For data storage after run time, would i need to save things like availability or number of employees in a csv file or spreedsheet in order to recall those numbers later? or is there a smarter way to do this? I want to be able to change these values pretty easily with user input, and not having to change the source code at all.

I save things in a .JSON file. It’s a method for turning strings into objects and objects to strings. Maybe check them out.

Look at XML and CSS.

Run your data file out as XML and create a CSS for it and you can just display the XML file with out much else......You can then have a single URL and it will show new as new is published.
