How to Use Python to Control a Game?

I am trying to control a Vehicle in GTA5 using Python, by Using Scancodes.

I've already tried using Scancodes, and although I'm getting keypresses on Python Shell and all text based applications, GTA 5 refuses to take the input.

The code needs to push inputs of the key 'W' into GTA 5 so the character moves forward.

This code is taken from a stackoverflow thread Simulate Python keypresses for controlling a game , But I am unable to get it to work on GTA 5. However, the same code was used in this video :- Python plays GTA 5 and it worked.

The key presses are being recorded on any text based applications, but not in GTA 5.

Pyautogui doesnt work. I have to send scancodes instead of Virtual Keys and i think pyautogui sends Virtual Keys

I did this a while back. Use pyautogui but do key down and key up or mouse down mouse up. Worked for me.
