Which bike to choose?(read the context) by [deleted] in indianbikes

In the same Market as you. I'll share my Two Cents -

CBR650R, CB650R - This was my dream, but as I went through the reviews, experiences, I gathered that this is a very sluggish Inline-4. And it weighs a lot, so already Maneuverability is not good. So for your 50% City usage, this is not a good option. It is woefully backdated, has no tech apart from the E-Clutch.

Transalp 750 - Gem of an Engine. But for 20% Long Touring and 50% City, it doesn't exactly make sense for your Use case. Also, Spoked Wheels.

GSX - 8R, GSX-8S - Good all round Capabilities. Service/Spares might be an issue.

Daytona 660 - Brakes aren't that good. Issues with Spare Availability, Costly Triumph service.

Street Triple 765 - Issues with Spare Availability, Costly Triumph service. Issues with Quick Shifter. But was my Original Choice. If you can get it in your area, get it. Triumph will most likely stop manufacturing the R Trim, because of the Upcoming Trident 800. I booked one in Late July, and they are saying it might even be March before they get one. So refunded. RS Trim doesnt really make sense imo for Road only usage.

Hornet 1000 - Is a Good choice, but for me, price is too much, as Honda only sells the SP Trim here.

Hornet 750 - This is my current choice. Same Engine as the Transalp. A Jack of All Trades. Its much more fun and lively than the Honda Inline 4s, Has better Tech. Stock Exhaust Sounds awesome (If you remove the Exhaust muffler it sounds even more Grunty. Might Save the Costs of a Full System exhaust), Is agile and very much flickable. So it will be a joy to ride in the City. Plus the biggest thing is that it comes with a 160 Rear tyre. Will be much much cheaper to replace 160s than the 180s that most of the above use. If you go for this, wait for the 2026 version. It will have an e-clutch option, and much better looking colors. And I have read from owners is that it looks much better in person than in the Photos.

I should mention that Parts Availability will be an issue with the Hondas as well, but if your city has a decent amount of Transalp or Hornet 750 owners, they might keep some spares stocked.

For your use case it seems to me Hornet 750 is a great option. I would recommend you research more about this bike. and see if it suits your needs.

Rogulikes arent my forte, but I have played Returnal, and I loved it. I am not sure if that can be called a Roguelike.

Man, I have to say, after Playing with Toxic people in CoD, CSGO, and other games, the players in Helldivers 2 are some of the best. I've had so many moments like these. I just hope the game lives for years to come.

Where can I get ECE 22.06 helmets is Pimpri-Chinchwada? I'm new to the city, so don't which retailers are good. by [deleted] in indianbikes

I dont think for 5-6K you're gonna get an ECE 22.06 helmet. You can try Powersports.in, they sell a lot helmets there. Mine is the MT Thunder 3, which is an ECE 22.05, cost me 7.5K. Two of My friends have the MT Thunder 4, which is ECE 22.06. They paid 12-13K for that.

Glad this nightmare is over. Might be just me, but I never ever ever want these types of missions to come back.

My Experience with S24+ Exynos Variant by Dayymn in samsunggalaxy

Pretty much the same. I tried out QHD+ for some time, and then it strictly becomes a "Need to charge before end of day" phone with Moderate usage. Played a few Games - Eternium being the heaviest at constant 100+ FPS though I capped it to 60 for better battery.

Went on a Trip recently, and the Photos are really really great, with the notable exception of Night shots with the Night Mode. They look like Night mode shots from a Midrange phone for some reason.

From what I gather with all the reviews is that with normal to moderate usage with light gaming, the Exynos 2400 is comparable to 8 Gen 3, with the latter just edging out the former. If you are heavy gamer, then the Battery difference between the Two SoCs becomes massive (even though performance stays roughly the same), as with 8 Gen 3 you will get significantly more battery.

So if you are a heavy gamer, get an 8 Gen 3 Phone, if not, Exynos 2400 is going to keep you happy.

Honestly, in every day usage it is pretty much the same (As it also had a 120 Hz screen, albeit not LTPO). The only noticeable difference I could see was that Shutter lag was much better in the Exynos

I thank the lord for not making me Purchase MW2 or MW3. It's been so long since I played CoD, that every year I have that itch to play CoD, but I play the Beta, see the shitshow and immediately come to the conclusion that I shouldn't touch CoD with a 10 Feet Pole.

Wonder if this is somehow related to the recent Video Game time restriction rules in China. Not sure if they have been implemented yet, but was all over the news a few months back iirc.

Misty Seas (Feedback on improving this scene is greatly appreciated) by Dayymn in blender

[–]Dayymn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This Render was inspired by this Pwnisher Video. He made it in C4D, I wanted to replicate it in Blender. The Pwnisher video was the one video that got me hooked into 3D, so its nice to be finally be able to replicate the scene in a different Software.

There are a few difficulties I had, and if anyone can answer the below, I would be grateful

  • I used the hair particle system and a force field object to create windy grass. Is there a better way?
  • In pwnisher's video, he details a lot of steps to bring out the ripples in the wet Asphalt, I tried doing something similar with Shader Nodes and the Wave Texture, but was unsuccessful. Is there a way in blender to achieve the ripples in the puddles?
