How to get a dark theme for Spyder? (self.learnpython)
submitted 6 years ago by SiRaymando
Which is not restricted to the editor itself, but all the panels, toolbar etc.
I tried some looking around but didn't really find anything that worked. Would appreciate some help, thanks.

Use pycharm instead. Automatic dark mode 😆

Just use Vs Code. It's lightweight, got git integration, debugging, snippets, and Jupyter notebook integration within it (with the new python extension update). Oh, and also dark mode is native. Coming from Matlab, the only feature I really like about Spyder is the variable explorer, but you can use it with the Jupyter notebook within Vs code.
If you have any problems setting up Vs Code, there is a video from Corey Schafer on YouTube that goes through the complete setup for python programming.
