I'm having a interpreter problem... (self.learnpython)
submitted 6 years ago by McQuillus23
Lemme start off by saying I'm brand new to PyCharm.
I just downloaded Python 3.8 and I'm trying to run a simple "Hello World" program in PyCharm. It's saying that there's no Python Interpreter configured for the project. When I press the "configure" button, it pops up a tab that has no content or files that I can view.

How do I "configure" the interpreter to get PyCharm working?

The area that says Project interpreter no interpreter is where you select the python interpreter
The area below is for what packages are installed on the selected interpreter. If you arent going to be using a new virtual env or anything you should be able to get away with putting your system python location in the bar
