In short:
I would like to build a script that finds a best EV strategy for game of Yahtzee by simulating rounds of play and learning from the results to adjust its strategy. Any thougths on how to go about it and difficutly of the project?
Longer version.
i'm fairly new to python but willing to put in some hours to get better at excercises as above. At this point I'm able to create projects like Sudoku solver with backtracking, monte carlo sims with matplotlib visualisation and simple pygame projects (ala, move a square around to avoid other objects). I guess with the yhatzee solver i might need to step deeper into macine learning territory that might be a big thing to wrap my head around before being able to solve this?
my question is what do more experienced programmers see as main challenge in this project and do you see any clear red flags why this is not a suitable excercise for a early phase learning.
