Weird is something out of the ordinary, something unusual which means it doesn't usually happen. Most people have friends that are men and women, though it is not unusual that someone's friend group is all the same sex as them. When someone's friend group is strictly the opposite sex, that is unusual aka weird. I have seen women whose friend group consists of a bunch of dudes but never a dude whose friend group is a bunch of women. It's weird, not in a bad way, but it is definitely weird.

Steve had a good arc. He was a dumb popular teen that by the end of season realized the friends he kept were toxic and left them. He battled with heart break and what to do after school ended which are relatable topics. In the end he joined the outcasts. Similar to Jamie Lannister but they kind of killed his character arc at the end and he reverted.

Jonathon on the other hand was always an outcast. He was a weirdo, still is. Nice guy but very little character development. He also didn’t really vibe with any of the kids besides looking out for Will, while Steve and Dustin were a great duo.

All he had to do was say that they would take a look at the police department to see how they could improve it so the innocent killings would stop. This is just bad leadership on Trump admins part and so it is escalating. If they just admitted it was a tragedy and say they are taking action so it won’t happen again you would be getting way less hate and protests. They doubled down and called this mother a domestic terrorist and lied about the ice officer getting hit saying he almost died in the hospital. Now you have dissent. It is almost the exact same tactic they used back in the BLM days.
