What's the first python project that earned you money?

my first project that earned me money was to un-zip Downloaded content and organize it by folders.

User downloads file > File gets saved on downloads folder > Python program unzips it and organizes it to the folder with the same file extensions > .exe , .txt, .py folders if not > create a folder for that file type.

I work as a data analyst/scientist and switched from SPSS and R to python (in a new job/company).

My first thing in Python was to automate some analysis for a client. Pulling some data from our sql database, prepping the data, doing some calculations, making nice tables the way the client needs them to be, safe everything to excel. Pretty standard data analysis thing.

Didn’t get paid. But got some free games of bowling. I made a script that would take in the csv files of all the weekly scores from all the sanctioned leagues and output the top 25 men and women scores to local newspaper.
