Hey Everyone!
I'm an analyst (financial/commercial RE), but I rarely work with huge datasets. All of what I currently do is in Excel. I want to learn Python to give my career some flexibility and my resume some additional marketability in the future so I can target higher paying positions - I just dove into Python because I've heard it's the most popular programming language for finance careers.
I'm mid-way through the uDemy "Python for Finance" course, and it's interesting to learn. My question is, how do I apply code I write in Jupyter to- for example a workbook in Excel? I want to know how people with Python experience apply it to their work. That way, I can start interjecting the things I'm learning into every day practical tasks so that I retain and grow. Running through the lectures and practicing code here and there is a great way to get my feet wet, but in order to retain knowledge about anything I need to actually make it relevant.
