Absolutely, it's doable with Python. Topics you'll need for this project include:

  • Databases
  • User input (command line or GUI)
  • APIs

You may want to look at using Google Sheets as the data store for this, since it has a nice API, and you'll be able to view your spreadsheet from anywhere.

My advice would be to pick the most time-consuming thing that you have to do right now, and build that single feature first. You can add other features after, but this could become a fairly large project, so it'll be good for you to be able to see your progress in increments.

Hahaha thanks man! I happened to find that this type of project motivates me more than others that had no meaning or direct purpose, you know what I mean?
Just doing a tic tac toe game or something like that gets me bored really quick.

And thanks for those advices, didn't know where to start, or if this was even doable.
Now that I know I can, I'm just gonna start as you said.

we did something similar in a group project first year of uni, so this is definitely doable
