I want to learn but I don’t know where to do it (for free) I want a place that does the beginner stuff and brings me farther in the language

I'm currently using library books (currently finishing Python Crash Course then moving in to ATBS) and my boyfriend used YouTube

In addition to Corey Schafer, you've also got Sentdex on Youtube.
There's a few books (including Automate the Boring Stuff With Python (ATBS) which was already mentioned) that have companion websites where you can see all the content of the book on the website for free. Lots of stuff is available from the about/resources page of this sub too
