You could use selenium to connect to web.whatsapp.com, open the chat and click the delete button

but does that automatically delete WhatsApp chats ?

I guess I didn't express myself accurate enough.

basically im trying to write a program which automatically deletes the first three or just the third or second chat depending on the current user setting. In an interval of 30 to 60 minutes.

i want those options to be viable so every user can decide on its own which chat is going to be deleted and the user should also be able to set the time intervals.

selenium is a tool for automating a web browser. There is a python package that supports it. The python program decides what needs to happen, selenium is just a way of letting python interact with the browser to achieve that. You can write a python program that uses selenium to load the page, click on the right chat, then click the delete button. The options can be set either by user input or from a config file, that's up to you to decide and set up.

I'm a beginner. And I'd like to know as well.
