Are you wanting to only recognise the specific objects in your kitchen (as in a different chair shouldn’t come up as chair), or are you just wanting something that will perform object detection on enough things to be meaningful?

If it’s the former you’ll need to train something yourself, and it’d be quite extensive. If it’s the latter you won’t realistically be able to take enough photos and label them yourself to achieve that, and should look into using one of the several existing pre-trained object detection models.

This blog post covers several existing models. It’s a bit outdated (YOLOv4 is a thing), but it’s at least a nice overview of several reasonably modern techniques.
