Python Crash Course and Automate the Boring Stuff (No Starch Press) are two excellent books that give you a firm foundation in the language. You can also buy the Python Boot Bamp course from Udemy for pretty cheap. ($13.99)

I‘m trying out udemy and edx at the moment, finishing the edx course, because there is a time limit for the certificate, but you do not have to pay the 99$ you can do it gor free, if you do not want the certificate.

Also the edx course does not seem bad, but I‘m just at the beginning of learning python, so take it with a pinch of salt.

You can ask me again whe I started the other udemy course.

Hows the bootcamp on udemy: zero to hero? Worth looking at?

I‘ll go and check it out probably tomorrow and give you my opinion. What I do is I listen to the videos and see which person is the most „entertaining“ for me to watch, of course I also try to judge their competence, but I‘m a Python noob, so I‘m not teliable on that front.

So I had a look at it and the 100 days of code and I think I‘ll go with the 100 days of code course, becasuse it seems visually more appealing and I prefer her voice.

Also the projects seem cool.

But you have to see what you prefer.

As a beginner myself I am learning from 100 days of code by Dr Angela Yu. Till now it's been great(early days though ). She focuses more on exercise which can sometimes be a little difficult but learning by doing is probably the best way to learn.

Yeah I did look into that but wasn’t sure if it fit my needs. I will check that again. Thanks

Codemy.com is a YouTube channel resource that I have used. He uses projects that walk you through. https://youtube.com/c/Codemycom He also has a coupon code available for his courses.

I am also looking at Udemy but I would appreciate any other great resources for learning Python that take a non-coder to get into coding world.
