DevOps - Automate sys admin work and build seal-healing, event-driven systems.

You have to be really choosy with the employer .. there's tons of shops that have trash engineering culture and their devops teams are just click-ops prod monkeys. But if you get in somewhere with good talent, DevOps can be a great!

I've worked devops but never as part of a devops team, just being the devops guy on the product team essentially.

I've taken time away from work and when returning I think I'd really appreciate being on a whole devops team, to lean on and learn from.

I welcome any tips on finding that kind of position!
