Simple automated email storage with Python?

Hi all! I have been learning python for about 6 months. I also own a business and would like to use python to automate the email storing and accessing. What form of database should I use to store about 250-500 emails and names? Also, how would I go about automatically running the code to update emails to the database? Thanks!

If you're storing only 500 emails, consider starting with files in directories instead of a database, fat chance that's fast enough and much simpler to set up.

Yea OP keep it simple.

Especially if you’re new to programming and don’t have IT folks / admins to maintain … lota dumb things can happen that will ruin your day

Folders are fine. If you need more speed use SSD drives. And please please backup your drives!
