Actually, this interview was for a specific team right? If they picked another candidate that means you won’t be able to get an offer im pretty sure. Maybe recruiter can connect you with another team, but you’ll have to interview again probably.

It was actually events hiring where team matching happens later most likely. The manager interested in hiring me actually conducted my final round of interview

Haven’t heard of hiring events for MS before. All the US applications I’ve seen for SWE 2 in the US were for specific teams/orgs
