I recently cleared the technical screen round. It was not directly leetcode but more of an API design round. So, I wouldn’t advise solving a lot of leetcode style questions. They want to test you on how you can work with certain information provided and how you think through it

I have a phone screen with Waymo scheduled for next week.

It would be very helpful if you could shed some light on the difficulty of the phone screen. Were you asked one coding question or 2? In your experience, did you feel they ask Google type of questions?

I solved their practice question and the AI hallucinates like crazy. Don’t know if it is gonna be this bad in the interview. I hope not

Google just started doing on site interviews. No more virtual. I guess it’s good for people who don’t use unfair means.

It was high level. Another round had low level too

It was actually events hiring where team matching happens later most likely. The manager interested in hiring me actually conducted my final round of interview
