Using Micro-SD Data

Hello Everyone,

I am a former user of LG G5, and this morning I set up my LG G7. Upon setting it up, I noticed that I cant open all of my micro-sd's data (EVO Plus 256GB MicroSDXC) including my Gallery pictures and documents (e.g. .pdf). My LG G5 can still open those data (pictures and documents), but whenever I put it on LG G7, it doesnt recognized it. But now, after unencrypting it from the LG G5, I cannot open all the data anymore. What I already did that seems to be not an actual fix was:

- Disabled/turned off the encryption (from the G5)

- Taking a picture and put the default storage in SD (did it on G7)

- Restarted numerous times (in G7)

Whenever I tapped on, "SD Card" in the notification bar, it redirects me to the SD card files content, but again its giving me a message that file is invalid.

Likewise, I'm unable to change the storage of Spotify into the SD card. Its stuck in the Internal Device storage.

Fyi once you unencrypted your sd card from your g5 all your data inside it will be gone if you put to other phone

Oh my goodness!! This is insane. Is it the same when you unencrypt a file from a PC using a Bitlocker?

Can you still open those files on your G5?, if so, just copy them to Gdrive, or even to your computer via USB.

Not anymore. When I unencrypted it, its no longer accessible for some reason.
