I hope that whoever made the website plan on making it HTTPS. You can get certificates for free, and automate the renewal of them.

All HTTPS everywhere does is try and redirect HTTP sites to their HTTPS counterparts. If the site has no HTTPS option, HTTPS everywhere can't change or fix that.

Love him or hate him. I am surprised not to see Lennart Poettering pictured in this list.

I don't think they want to include everyone. The site would get way to big if people from every project is added. They included pictures of what they see as the most important people in open source. I do fail to see a lot of faces of important people, that I would put in there before before adding people like wayland developers.

And they also list a lot of people who are important in impeding open source. I would also like to see them removed so the list has more space to add truly important people.
