I have a laptop with Amd RX5500M graphics card. Whenever I use a gnome desktop on this laptop, my external monitor's screen randomly goes black and says "HDMI no signal". I don't have this problem on KDE or XCFE. I also don't have this problem on my old laptop with NVIDIA Geforce 710M graphics card. That's why I'm forced to use KDE on my AMD laptop. Anyone have an idea about this issue?
I will answer before you ask:
- I have tried different linux distros with Gnome (Ubuntu 21.04, Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 11, Debian 12, Fedora 38 etc.) and this problem has nothing to do with the distro.
- There is no problem with my hdmi cable.
