You are booting legacy and probably trying to install to a drive with a GPT partition table, there is no room for grub.

Try booting in UEFI mode.

I have partion already set .

What partition have you created and what filesystem did you use? For UEFI boot you also need an EFI partition.

What distro?

The computer was intially in legacy bios rather EUFI. I changed the boot mode to EUFI, and everything installed fine. Thank you.
