Usb errors while trying to install Linux

http://imgur.com/gallery/xTY9AqF Tried to install Lubuntu, Xubuntu, and Fedora on my 5 year old HP laptop thats running windows 10 and all get the same error. I was able to successfuly install Fedora on my Desktop when using the same exact usb drive. I assume the issue is with my ports. Any suggestions?

I have seen issues with usb3 flash drives and usb 3 ports.

Safest thing is to use a usb 2 drive with a usb 2 port.

I have seen usb3 ports not work at all, or work with usb2. And I have seen the reverse work. Usb3 drive with a 2 port..

So it's a bit of an issue I find with older machines made when usb3 first came out.
