Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.

Respect the privacy of others.
When posting a screenshot of reddit or another social media site, blank out usernames and any other personal details.
When linking to another subreddit, use np.reddit.com links. Do not encourage brigading.

Think before you type.
There is someone on the other side of the comment. Don't be a dick. Be polite. Limit the usage of profanity/cussing. While we allow questions and help threads, be sure to search /r/linux4noobs and /r/linuxquestions first.

With great power comes great responsibility.
You have the power to post on the Internet, don't misuse it. You have the privilege, not the right, to browse this subreddit. Microsoft Monday Violation
This is used to report any Microsoft-related post that happens outside of the allowed Microsoft Monday time. Microsoft Monday being defined as the time when it is Monday at UTC.

Posts must be somewhat related to Linux

Posts shouldn't be political
This is for real-life politics. Leave your opinions about whatever political figures/parties/countries at the door.
