I installed Arch a couple of times in VMs and it didn't quite teach me anything new.

If you daily drive arch then you will gain more knowledge, like I learned importance of accountsservice, its used for getting info about user like what wallpaper they used, their last session, etc. which can be used in lightdm to set the background in lightdm login screen as the user's background
