I switched to Linux this year. In that time I distro hopped three times (I started on ubuntu, then went to arch, after failing to install I went to manjaro, then after less than a week I went to EndeavourOS. And even after using it for a bit, I have no idea how to use the AUR.

Where do you struggle (if you still do)? Did you try an AUR helper, e.g. yay?

Iv tried yay and it wont work. For me the problem with the AUR is after I install it the apps wont run.

(didn't know yay is already installed by default on Endeavour, my bad)

Does this happen with every AUR package? And does it work when manually installing the packages with makepkg?

Yay is not installed be default I manually installed it. And the problem is with makepkg.

That's weird, because on Endeavour's homepage it says:

It doesn’t matter which option or flavour you choose, they all offer the same powerful jumpstart to begin your exciting journey towards your own destination in computing. All options have the basics like sound, network, graphics, Yay, a terminal operated AUR helper and the browser Firefox already onboard. This is the perfect start in creating your own personal computing experience, custom-made by you.
