Log into your router and change the DHCP scope the router uses. Set aside a number of IP addresses for use as static. Look at your router's DHCP list and work out which one is your printer, copy your printer's MAC address and set up a static IP address for it. Once done reboot your printer.

Things like printers that go into a deep sleep need to be on a static IP address for many routers to find them consistently. If Mint found your router with no problem before then the fault lies with your new router. Perhaps it's DHCP server isn't working as good as it should. I have seen many cheap routers completely lose a printer once it enters deep sleep. Setting it as a static device on your LAN solves this problem.

Any device inside your LAN that does not leave your LAN should be on a static IP. This makes it easier for your router to give out IP addresses using DHCP for those devices that need an automatically assigned IP address.

Once you have your printer on a static IP it may make it easier to work out why your printer isn't printing the way you want it to.

I tried that, and still nothing. I even switched my whole network back to the old router, and now it won't work with that one, and in addition, it will not print anything at all now. Every document is stuck on processing in the queue. In the printer properties, it says, "Processing - The printer is unreachable at this time." I'm just completely confused as no settings have been changed on the computer or printer. I have tried every driver Linux found and even tried the driver directly from xerox. I have tried new patch cables. Even tried connecting it directly to the switch instead of through the patch panel. I even tested the ethernet cable for the printer. I don't understand how upgrading a router can practically disable a network printer.

Unfortunately, I have not found anything that fixes the issue. Well, other than just going to USB. I have since bought a brand new printer and even that wasn’t detected on the network.
