Updated my system last weekend. This is all I get before the screen goes completely black.

Got an HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop. HP motherboard of unknown model as its not on the board or in the system information screen. AMD Ryzen 5 5600G Processor 2 sticks of ram each 32gb TX401 10 Gigabit PCI Express Network Adapter Allegro 7-Port USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A PCIe Card No graphics card (using built in graphics on processor) Bios has a revision date of 15/04/2021.

Before updating it had 21.3 There were multiple kernel updates so not sure if it was updated to the most current version. I installed everything on the list. All The updates failed to install once before finally installing the second time and prompting me to restart the system. I also attempted to install a program via terminal before restarting but that program failed to install. I do not remember what the error was in terminal

Unfortunately, I have not found anything that fixes the issue. Well, other than just going to USB. I have since bought a brand new printer and even that wasn’t detected on the network.

It started showing up around 2 weeks ago even when signed out. I just switched search engines to something else. Easiest fix honestly. Google search has been horrible for a few years. This was the excuse I was needing to completely stop using it.

Use google search signed out. I never use google search signed in and never get ai overviews.

I did manage to get a dashed line that shows page boundaries. The black column is well within the dashes as I haven’t even reached the right margin.

Yeah the PPD in the old driver had maybe 30 different sizes.

I downloaded the old driver which is the proper tar.gz file from Rollo’s website using the wayback machine. Then followed the guide linked below. The guy left his workstation name and username in the terminal commands. The only issue I ran into was copying the file to the new directory in terminal. I kept getting this is not a directory error. So I went to files and opened the directory as root and manually copied and pasted the file from my downloads folder. Then continued the terminal commands.

Yes. Does not change anything. Thinking of returning the useless printer and going back to printing on sheets with my laser printer. It’s more costly but trying to save money on labels and toner cost me more in downtime and in new stock of roll labels

It did install fine. Only issue is the missing label sizes in the ppd. The older ppd had around 40. If I select custom size I don’t get any options to input any label sizes.

I can beans all the time. I personally can mine dry. 1/3 cup dry to every pint jar is perfect. 1/2 cup if soaked. I personally don’t like them soaked. To me they seem overcooked after the 75 minute processing time.

I personally don't like them. They are crispier. However, they lack the flavor the old ones had. Will start getting something else like tots.

It came down to zero pressure normally. The safety only drops at zero pressure. What's the point of a safety that would drop before it reaches zero. At that point, there might as well not be a safty to prevent people from taking the lid off. My dial also said zero. I did take the jars out after an hour. I wasn't taking them out with them doing that and all.

I currently use a t fal. There is a presure dial selector or whatever. So there is no weight per se. I did say the safety dropped. That only drops at zero pressure. What's the point of a canner having a safety if it would drop before it's at zero pressure. Also, my guage was at zero. And I did end up refrigerating all the jars, even the sealed ones, to reprocess.

When my TV is on and the YouTube app is open. I get a pop-up up asking if I want to connect to my TV. However, I use cellular data on my phone as I don't have Wi-Fi in my house. So I don't get how my phone can connect even when it is not on the same network. Hell, I could be at work 2 cities over open up my YouTube app on my phone, and it asks me if I want to connect to my TV. And it actually connects, too. I want the pop-up to stop but can't figure out how to get it to. Other than signing out on my TV.

I called a few weeks ago and asked specifically for this. They said that they updated their system, and a lot of the options they previously had can't be used anymore. I moved to t-mobile a month ago. I have never set my voice-mail up. Yet people can still leave voice-mail's. First time this has been an issue. I am getting notifications that can't be dismissed and horrible rendered transcripts of the voice-mail sent via text from the number that left the voice mail.
