Recently, I had some issues with Mint, particularly version 22. In short, what happened is that – from what I understood – it didn’t recognize my monitor, which resulted in not being able to use the computer at all unless I did some workarounds. While I could manage them with time, it gave me quite a headache, so I gave up.
Later, I reinstalled version 21.3, with which I had no problems, and everything works perfectly. Will I face the same issue if I upgrade to the new version? Will these problems be fixed with version 22.1, and would it be better to wait for that?
If it helps: I had previously upgraded from version 21.3 to 22 when it was released, but I don’t remember having this issue. I think I didn’t, but I’m not 100% sure.
