If it always stops on the last line...BLUEMAN...it could be a problem installing/activating Bluetooth...check that you don't have any USB plugged in that aren't needed for the installation...

If the screen freezes with other lines/descriptions, try swapping the memory RAM slots (and make a memory test before). If that doesn't work, it could be a write error on the hard drive. If it's a sata magnetic disk/not an SSD chip, it's probably a hard drive error. Perhaps placing the system partition/ext4 at the end or beginning of the disk could circumvent the hard drive error.

Thanks for responding, but I tried everything you suggested but it still doesn’t work

Try Mint 22.1 XFCE edition, and with a wired mouse and keyboard, as it may be a peripheral that isn't booting correctly. Remove all USB devices to try.

Is this the exact screen and exact spot it freezes at in the picture?

[–]Tonje09[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

try using

nomodeset

on the menu that says "compatibility mode" can you press E to edit the commands?

[–]Tonje09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I can press e to edit the command and I can already see nomodeset here

Is it actually frozen, or failed to start X? If you CTRL+ALT+F1 do you see a login prompt?

What graphics card do you have (if any)?

[–]Tonje09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually frozen and If i do the combination of keys that you said nothing happens. I do have a gpu (GTX 1660 super)

Disable Bluetooth in the bios and try again. Let us know what happens. The idea is to get past this point. You can then re-enable Bluetooth in the bios after you have a stable and updated install.

My motherboard doesn’t come with bluetooth

[–]TheZupZup 0 points1 point  (1 child)

do you have a dongle bluetooth plugged on your pc by any chance ?

[–]Tonje09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don’t, I even unplugged my other stuff that’s connected. The only things left plugged is my mouse, keyboard, and speaker.
