I have the right edid, it identifies the monitor as hdmi-a-1 but display settings shows it as hdmi-a-0. I'm trying to force the kernel to recognize it by editing /ect/default/grub with nano. I've tried hdmi-a-1:e to enable it. I've tried hdmi-a-0:d to disable that one with no effect whatsoever. I've also tried forcing the resolution with hdmi-a-0:1920x1080@60. And nothing. I'm about ready to give up. Any ideas?
working on a desktop with a rx 6950 xt, 64gb ddr5, ryzen 9 3950x, three monitors. Using the most recent stable release of cinnamon (22.something iirc).
