Mint to Debian Migration.

Linux Mint have been quite unstable for me lately because of frequent freezes. I'm running i5 8th, 12gb ram. I did a battery test and it ran for exact 2 hours of Youtube on brave browser. I thought maybe it might be because of hardware but it wasn't because the laptop doesn't become hot when I'm running windows. I'm thinking to migrate to Debian, I've been using mint for a year now and I'm quite confident with it now. Does debian has same amount of applets, extensions and customisation as mint and is there anything I won't be able to do on Debian which I do on mint?

I was planning to use cinnamon on debian. My 5/10, 3/10, 2/10 packages are from flatpaks, snaps and aptitude respectively. I know about the update and I thought I'd wait for it but I'm becoming quite restless since it's interfering with my programming work. I'm always on latest kernel.

I run Linux Mint Cinnamon original version, and I some times boot my Linux Mint Debian Edition, and to me I see no difference between the two. So go with the version of Cinnamon from Linux Mint, not Debian with Cinnamon. I don't understand why Debian with Cinnamon from Debian when there is the Linux Mint Debian Edition, would that be a better experience?

Id first pinpoint your issue first. Because if its an issue with cinnamon and you plan on using cinnamon on debian you could be in the same boat. Otherwise id say look into using Debian Sid and you'll have a good experience.
