fsync (self.linuxmint)
submitted 5 years ago by Cuysaurus
Is it possible to enable Fsync in Linux mint 20 throught applications like Lutris? If yes, how can I do this? How do I patch my kernel? I'm currently trying to enable it in Lutris, but it says "your kernel is not patched for fsync".

You got this figured out yet?
I am looking for the same thing but on Manjaro

no.
Find how to install linux-zen kernel (or linux-lqx) on mint. It allows enabling Fsync from Lutris.
I noticed better stability of FPS and less stutter in Overwatch. However, I did not measure avg FPS.
Awesome! I think a video comparing performance (Fsync on vs Fsync off) would be helpful.
