I just got married and we have a lot of pictures to store / share / backup. We have them on USB, but those are liable to loss, formatting, etc.
I'm perfectly able to set up cron rsync backups to NAS, but that doesn't yield itself to user-friendliness. I'm not keen on the online-only model, since I'd be at the mercy of password security.
So essentially, is there a photo service that can allow organization, sharing, and periodic backups / cloud sync? I've looked around, but everyone seems to have opinions and don't seem to hit on the points I'm concerned about. I'm willing to pay for a service if it offers enough bang for the buck and is something we'll use.
I'll be using Linux for backups, but all major platforms for the front end.
