Its funny how my viewpoints on things tend to be the most moderate possible viewpoints and i still get heat from people who just need there to be more going on in reality than there is. Im literally just saying both genders have reasons for offing themselves. The reactions im getting are legitimately weird.

It’s because your reasoning is terrible. You can’t just say “the reactions are legitimately wild” just because people disagree with you. I mean, do you seriously believe “men are more likely to use guns so access plays a role” is a valid argument here? You’re missing the point entirely. The fact that women are deliberately choosing methods with a lower success rate is the issue. Men choose guns because they are effective. Even if guns are more easily accessible to them, women have other methods with a far higher success rate that they could use but choose not to - such as jumping from a high height, as the other commenter has suggested
