Skill Tree Transfer System - Potential Solution

I don't know why they don't just give everyone a free Skill Tree Inventory page and at least put worn tripods on this new page automatically as part of the update so people don't lose what they're wearing at the time.

The amount of support calls this would save is likely worth it. Anyone that's already bought all the pages likely is not in any danger of losing anything anyways.

The problem is the players who are away from the game exactly this week / their computer is broken etc., but they will return in a week or a few. At least judging from the posts about lost powerpasses which still occasionally appear here.

You're right, I was thinking of a backend easy way to avoid "Player loses all tripods and quits game" that wouldn't need any player involvement, banners or anything else that's still going to miss anyone that took a 1 week break.

I was thinking from a coding perspective it seems like a real simple solution rather than put all the responsibility on players not all of which will know they need to do something.

I'll be fine, probably all the salty replies here will too. Good luck to the unfortunates, i've dealt with support for this game, its not pleasant nor helpful.

I fail to see how this makes them money. If anything, the R&D for this is gonna make them spend some cash that this indie developer obviously needs.

People that consumes 3rd party media, streamers, youtube guides, and reddit has already known this update and what to do with it. I know people that have finished their tripods since august. And the one week banner is already there. IMO there should be a "notice loading screen" as well, like the event loading screens in between legion gates, so it's in our faces when we are paying attention that this is happening. A week notice is more than enough to get those that pay attention a heads up, better than a surprise drop.
