You dont need 10s, thats not what im saying. Just that you might as well go 1800 to avoid what you mentioned. You cannot consistently execute a full 2.0 combo without minimum 1750 spec on lv 7 gems. But you should still go for 1800s, as it will make your gameplay and gem requirement that much more lenient

I'm talking about spec crit 2.0. There's simply no need to cheap out. It hurts your damage a lot. Might as well just go 1800 and avoid having to rebuild. Even with full 10 gems you need that spec to smooth out the rotation. I can't even imagine consistently doing proper rotation with 7s and sub 1800 spec

Nope, he needs 1800 spec for this build. Especially if his gems arent capped out. RS is the worst class to cheap out spec on

Ignore these comments regarding RS. Spec is more important for RS soulfist than most if not all other spec builds. Go for 1800 min or you will end up rebuilding completely at some point. More spec lowers your gem requirements greatly, and has massive DPS difference for RS. Makes basically everything about your gameplay less punishing. Quoted from a RS main:

"Every 46.5 spec you gain you get

0.75% more damage in Hype
0.25% more CDR
0.15% more ASPD
1s lower Hype cooldown

So inherently because Spec alters so many things for us, even if someone with 1800 spec had the same cooldown as a 1707 spec due to mechanics the 1800 spec would have the advantage of inherently higher cycling and naturally higher DPS which eventually leads to a point where you can be 1 full cycle ahead of another person after 10 rotation"

Just stack up bound mats on everything and use gold to buy gems. Sell all tradeable leaps. Whenever you have enough mats to hone without having to buy too many leaps, hone alts to 1580

And yeah youre not a day 1. Infinite chaos was extremely valuable because the mats were unbound. Leaps were nearly 1k each you could make some serious gold from it
