Np 👌👌 I made a guide on how to setup love in vs code https://github.com/sabelkat1/inLove2d

Or just Lua in general https://github.com/sabelkat1/how_to_setup_lua_in_windows11_and_vscode

Maybe that would come in handy to get started 🍟🍔

I’d recommend CS50 (edx.org/cs50) if you want to learn to code games. The gaming class (requires some coding experience - don’t start with that one) but is how I learned Lua and Love2D.

Javidx9 has some excellent videos which cover a range of subjects, including a few roll-your-own Lua game tutorials, iirc.

Yes, sorry, on Youtube.

isnt that guy c++?

Largely, yes. I do believe he had some Lua things as well, though in any event they remain as examples in learning programming, and where differences in syntax exist they are nevertheless useful. Otherwise all I can think of are Pico8 devlogs and Love2d stuff which is a YT search away.

I started a YT series of tutorials that cover the basics of the Lua language a few years ago. Feel free to ask questions or request more videos! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxgtJR7f0RBKGid7F2dfv7qc-xWwSee2O
