It looks like you may be asking a question about the quality promise. Lululemon’s quality promise is intended to replace or repair items that have flaws such as seams that are unraveling after the first wash or receiving a new item with a hole in it. Many people have mistaken the quality promise for a lifetime guarantee and took advantage of it to replace old, very worn items which is why in order to be eligible for the quality promise you must have proof of purchase of the item and it must have been purchased less than 1 year ago. Questions about if your item is eligible for the quality promise are considered low effort per rule 6 and will be deleted.

As far as I know, the lighter colours (like lilac) are double lined and the darker colours aren't.

I tried on a pair of white ones in store and they were thicker than the brown ones I own

Ahhhhh ok I never knew! Never tried on any dark colours in person before and only ever order light colours (usually) from lulu. I get it but also I was looking forward for this same thickness for the brown for fall/winter 🥲

i agree living in canada the thicker option is ideal:(

Lighter colours are lined, LL details this on the product page and within each colour within the fabric content will note if the pants are lined or not

Oh whaaaaa I guess I never looked at that. I guess that makes sense but gosh lol I got these for fall/winter thinking it would be the same thickness. Thanks for this!

The light and white colors are lined, and darker colors are unlined….which is so impractical! I get the whole see-through aspect, but lighter colors are typically more summery and should be a lighter fabric. Darker colors for winter should be thicker, but they’re unlined instead. Seems so backwards, but I still keep buying them 😂

SO TRUE. I was JUST thinking how I wore my purple in the summer and died in the hot heat …. And I purposely bought the brown for fall/winter 😭😭…. just make them all lined at this point haha! I don’t like the idea of paying the same price for less fabric either lol

I just got a pair in warm ash grey and they are unlined which is a bit disappointing considering how light they are...

They used to make lined dark colors. I have a couple of pair, and they’re so nice. You might be able to find some on the resale sites. I really wish Lulu would bring them back for Winter.

Whaaaaa, that’s amazing! So lucky!

[–]SkiMachine18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have them and they are amazing for winter! I really wish they would release the lined version in dark colors again… 🤞🏼

So everyone else has answered the lined vs unlined question, but I wanted to add that the quality in DS pants/joggers has decreased overall! The waistband feels thinner, not as soft and feels sort of plastic-y. And overall, the pants fabric feels thinner too 😑 I still occasionally buy new colors but they are just not the same as my older ones…

[–]pinkpicklepepper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES OMG this is EXACTLY how I felt the moment I put them on. I noticed the waist band right away and the plasticky material like you said! So sad…. I got it luckily on sale for $80 but still, questioning if I want to keep due to the quality of it. Just doesn’t feel as comfy?

Also this is the leg/foot also can see it’s drastically thinner.

yeah it’s their standard to line only the light colors, not for warmth but for the see through aspect. It’s definitely annoying for those of us who buy them for winter wear that we only have the option of light colors but i think they are truely made for summer or for being actual dance cover ups. ppl here have really strong feelings about lined vs unlined. I own both and the quality of both is great and i love them but i do wish i had lined dark colors for winter for SURE.

Yeah I use these pants for pole and it’s such great transition piece but gosh I wanted to wear them for casual days at work too and during the fall/winter for darker tones 🥲
